We had a brillint time, food was amazing and Chalet well comfy. Andy and Mary were perfect hosts and the freeze game is very dangerous.

Having been mainly used to self-catering, we are now thoroughly spoiled!

I loved being driven to whichever lift we wanted on a morning and being collected from wherever on an afternoon. Short of ski-in, ski out this is perfect, especially by the time you throw in a hot tub! Lovely to be met at the airport and transferred without any hassle too.

Cooked breakfasts, a cake to greet us, canapés early evening, followed by free-flowing beer and wine, 3 course dinners plus a cheeseboard and coffee with chocs every day. Anywhere else pales in comparison.

Look no further for a fantastic chalet in a picturesque village within the biggest skiing area in Europe!

I have been elected group spokesman by the 'lads' who stayed with you during the week of 7-14th March. We would all like to express our thanks and appreciation to Mary and you along with Mitch and Danny for looking after us so well.
We had a splendid week and this is due in no short measure to the trouble taken by all of you in looking after us.
The chalet was spotless, the cooking for all meals was without question 5 star quality. Your chauffeur service to and from the lift and airport made all the difference removing the normal hassle and stress associated with ski-ing holidays.
A very enjoyable and memorable holiday. Thank you all once again.

Hey guys, just to say a HUGE thanks for a fantastic week, we both had a great time, one of the best ski holidays yet - couldn't find any faults. Keep up the hard work and we hope to be out again soon ;-)

Andy, Mary, Dani and Mitch

As this was our second year at Chatel Simplet we had an advantage in knowing just what to expect - and this year we even got blue skies and sunshine to match the great location and service.

Dani and Mitch did an excellent job with Mary's menus, with the Confit duck being a particular highlight. Our evening meals now are just not the same without 6.30pm canapes and unlimited red wine.

We've already made a tartiflette with the Robuchon cheese we brought home, but Chris is still working his way through the huge block of Abundance!

Whilst not yet 100% converted to 'the dark side' (skiing rather than boarding) after Fifi's attempts to get me skiing red runs, I promise to keep practicing at the indoor slope.

We still have a lot of the Portes Du Soleil area to explore so am sure we'll be back for a third visit.

Many thanks to Andy,Mary,Mich%26Dannii for a great holiday.As a family of 9 with 3 children aged 18 months,3 %26 5 years we gave Andy a logistical nightmare having to get to creche,junior ski school,adult ski school and to the various lifts at different times but Andy took it all in his stride and the transportation ran like a well oiled Swiss watch!!
The chalet was spacious,well cared for and the food was very varied,well presented and delicious.Dinner for the adults was a relaxed affair as the children were given an early dinner and were in bed so that we could enjoy our dinner and drinks in peace.A lot of extra work for our Hosts but a great bonus for us!
Andy's knowledge of the ski area and his willingness to guide us and to pass on skiing tips was much appreciated.
All in all a great holiday and a big"thank you" to all at The Alpine Chalet Company.

So much snow
Andy and Mary Thank you so much for a fabulous week's snowboarding in January. We still can't get over the sheer quantity of snow that greeting us each morning on the uncrowded lifts and pistes. This was our first chalet experience and you made us feel right at home... but then maybe that was the different cake awaiting us each day. We wish our house had underfloor heating, just like the chalet! The minibus transfers to and from the slopes, accompanied by our favourite 'snow tune' was such a luxury. We HAD to go out boarding all day simply to work off the hearty breakfasts, amazing evening meals and cheese platters. Chris is still getting through the block of his favoutite Abondance cheese he brought back to the UK. Many personal thanks go to Mary for creating such delicious vegetarian options for me. And to Andy for showing us round the pistes. Looking at the photos - we just want to be back in Chatel now!
